The product

What 'aircraft waiting' actually means.

A day charter is not two one-ways. The crew stays with you, the cabin stays yours, and the engines stay warm. You land, work, celebrate — then walk back out and fly home.

01 · Time

No repositioning lag

The aircraft stays on the ramp at your destination FBO. When your meeting ends early — or runs long — you decide when to leave, not a dispatcher.

02 · Cabin

One cabin, all day

Same seats, same Wi-Fi, same catering the whole arc. No clearing out for the next leg, no baggage reshuffle, no restarting your work surface mid-itinerary.

03 · Control

The schedule bends to you

Add a second city. Push return by two hours. Stay for dinner. The crew is briefed on a flexible return window — you confirm wheels-up by phone.

At 4h ground time, you cover a board meeting and lunch in the FBO. Wait is billed at a fraction of the second flight hour — far cheaper than booking two one-ways.

Coordination

Ground, catering, every handoff.

The day only works if cars, catering, and FBOs land on the same clock. We coordinate every leg of the ground arc so the cabin-to-boardroom transition is seamless.

Cars at both ends

Black-car meet on the FBO ramp at origin and destination — boot loaded direct from aircraft, no terminal walk.

Catering on your diet

Espresso, paleo, kosher, halal, vegan — loaded before wheels-up and refreshed at the destination FBO if the wait runs long.

Preferred FBOs

We route through the highest-rated fixed-base operators — Signature, Atlantic, Million Air, Clay Lacy — wherever you land.

Why a day, not a trip

Days that used to be impossible.

When the aircraft waits, the shape of your day changes. Board meetings happen without an overnight. Milestones land without two travel days on either side.

Board day

The single-day board meeting.

Eight directors, one city, no hotel block, no travel day. Up at dawn, decisions by lunch, everyone home for dinner.

We replaced a two-day offsite with a same-day board meeting in Boston. Every director was home that night.

Family milestone

The milestone that almost wasn't.

Daughter's graduation in the morning, back for the youngest's recital that evening. The aircraft waited on the ramp in between.

The plane waited at the FBO. We made both. No commercial schedule could have done it.

Day-charter questions

Before you book the day.

How is wait time priced?
Ground wait is billed as a fraction of a flight hour, not as a separate daily fee. The crew and aircraft are committed to your day regardless, so the marginal cost of extending a 4-hour wait to 6 is modest — typically a half flight-hour per added block. We show the wait cost as a separate line on every quote so you can see exactly what flexibility costs.
Can we hit two cities in one day?
Yes — that is one of the core uses of a day charter. A common pattern is origin → city A → city B → origin, all on the same aircraft and crew. Each added leg is priced as a flight hour plus any incremental landing and ramp fees. We will sequence the cities to minimise total flight time and flag if a second city pushes you into overnight.
What if meetings run long?
The crew is briefed on a flexible return window. If you push past it, we coordinate the new wheels-up time by phone with the FBO and update ground transport at the origin. There is usually no crew duty issue for day trips under 14 hours; for longer arcs we plan a relief crew up front. You confirm the new return, not a dispatcher.
Is a day charter cheaper than two one-ways?
Almost always. Two one-ways bill you for two repositioning legs — the aircraft flying empty to come get you, and again to leave. A day charter keeps the aircraft on the ground with you, so you pay one set of reposition fees plus a wait charge. On a NYC–Boston same-day, the day-charter route is typically 25–40% less than two one-ways booked separately.
Can you arrange cars at both ends?
Yes — and it is included by default in our coordination. Black cars meet you on the ramp at origin and destination FBOs, luggage moves direct from cabin to boot, and the return car is staged for your confirmed wheels-up time. We can also arrange helicopters, SUVs for larger parties, or specialty vehicles.
