Who looks after your request
Quote requests submitted on this site are handled by Charter Jet One, the air charter broker that operates Private Jet for a Day. Where this policy says "we" or "us", it means Charter Jet One acting for Private Jet for a Day.
The information involved
In brief: what you enter in the request form, and how you reached us. That means your name, email address and phone number; the details of your trip, including the type of trip, the airports or cities, the dates, the number of travellers and any notes; the page that referred you; and any campaign tags carried in the link you followed (utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign). We also record whether you chose to receive offers.
This website never asks for card details, passport numbers or dates of birth. When a booking needs passenger documents, we request them separately and explain who will receive them.
Why we use it
In brief: to plan your day. We use your details to prepare aircraft options and an all-in price, to arrange and support the flight if you book it, and, only if you opted in, to send occasional offers such as empty legs. Unsubscribing takes one click or a one-line reply.
Who it is shared with
In brief: only those who help us fly you. The direct air carrier that would operate your trip receives what it needs to confirm aircraft, crew and price, and our service providers, such as email and hosting companies and, after booking, ground handling or catering suppliers, receive what their part of the work requires. Your information is not sold or traded, and it is never passed on for anyone else's advertising.
How long it is kept
In brief: no longer than needed. Records stay with us while we answer your request, complete and support any booking, and meet our legal, tax and accounting duties. Afterwards they are deleted or anonymised.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Reply to any email you receive from us or send a note through the quote form, say which you would like, and we will confirm your identity before making the change.
Cookies
In brief: none to speak of. The site uses only what is essential to work and runs no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Its typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives the routine technical request needed to supply them.
Keeping it safe
Requests are encrypted on their way to us and are open only to the people handling them. We take sensible precautions, although no system can promise perfect security.
Children
Day trips are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 13, and a parent, guardian or other responsible adult arranges any travel for minors.
Changes
When this policy changes, the updated text appears here with a new effective date, and significant changes are pointed out at the top of the page.
